This amazing structure was built by IzzeddinKeykavus in 1217. This is an extensive hospital of Seljuks plus it is the oldest one. The founder of this building wrote on its wall that he wanted to be buried there and so it was. He died in 1220 and his tomb is in the south wall chamber.
